WINNING THE BATTLE AGAINST A SPIRIT HUSBAND/WIFE

Brief introduction –

The spirit spouse is a very dangerous entity because it usually presents itself like a friendly, beautiful woman or a charming attractive man; but it is, in reality, a deadly seducing spirit that comes in dreams to offer the victim fake and ‘free’ love as an alternative to the pure Love of God. Therefore, it would be friendly and loving and offer free sex which may seem to be a harmless alternative to physical fornication and masturbation; but is just as repulsive to God even though it happens in the spirit realm. As well, it is not free sex at all but a subtle, defiling hidden spiritual marriage which seeks to take over the life and destiny of the victim and turn it upside down from what God intended for the victim. The spirit spouse usually remains friendly until the victim gives his/her life to Christ, The Bridegroom of the Church; then it turns vicious and may manifest itself in its real, evil, revolting form; turning into the beast that it really is.

The spirit husband/wife is usually a serpent and can present itself as either male or female and can attach itself to a man or woman, confusing many about their own sexuality; making a man to think he is really a female and should be having sex with men; and vice versa. It is the grand author of homosexuality and lesbianism and transgender issues defiling the world today. As a serpent, it can only come to kill, steal and destroy…

Jn.10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The spirit spouse is viciously jealous and so *it causes delay in marriage, *it diverts the victim to a wrong marriage-partner who will maltreat him/her, *it prevents its victim from tasting the joys of a good marriage, *it causes conflicts in marriage and may frankly cause spouses to destroy each other, *it is a common cause of infertility and repeated miscarriages, and *it seeks to destroy the spouse and the children if the victim eventually gets married and has children. A serpent is a devourer and therefore, it causes abject poverty in the marriage of its victims.

How does it come to be?

A spirit spouse unfortunately usually comes into the life of a person through ancestral covenants and we find that every member of the family may well have spirit a husband or wife which has been visiting them in the dream from an early age. Because it is an intimate embarrassing thing, family members may never mention it or discuss it with each other and so the spirit spouses remain hidden to continue their nefarious activities. Many do not even know that they have a spirit spouse and a spirit house with children as well! This is because, being a snake, the spirit spouse sheds its skin and covers the face of its victim like a veil of death and this may continue until the person becomes born-again and begins to read the Bible and attend prayer-meetings, and one day, the veil may be torn off by the mercy of God, for him or her to see the vile night visitor! For many, it is when they hear or read about the existence of spirit spouses that they understand the meaning of the shameful defilement they have endured and hidden since childhood.

A spirit spouse may enter through sex with a demonic person, usually a cultist who needs the blood of a virgin for a ritual which would enable him/her to steal the virtue of the victim and become rich and powerful. This is the mystery behind most of those distressing unexplained sex with babies and minors which has become common throughout the world now. A spirit spouse may enter through demonically laced food or even through simple consultation with a fetish priest or a false prophet. It may come in from using items like soap or oil which they give the victim to use. Any contact or sex or consultation with fake ministers brings a person into contact with Satan and a subtle covenant is entered into, knowingly or unknowingly; especially if unBiblical rituals are carried out as well. a spirit spouse always attaches itself to anyone who watches pornography or practices masturbation. Sadly, a spirit spouse becomes attached to any child, even a baby, who gets sexually abused; therefore they need deliverance as well as medical care.

GETTING RID OF A SPIRIT SPOUSE

Step 1 

Since it comes into a person’s life through ancestral or personal sin, the first step is repentance. Da.9:4-19 is a good Scripture to use for that because it deals with both personal and ancestral sins. Repentance is better done on our knees.

Step 2

Covenants are entered into by words and incantations uttered by demonic persons consulted, either in the presence of the victim or after he/she has left. All we need to do is to use the infinitely more powerful Word of God to pray and neutralize the evil words which were used to ensnare us; much like how the rod/serpent of Moses swallowed the rods/serpents of the magicians in the court of Pharaoh. Below are some specific Word of God to stand on and declare aloud now to begin to give quit notice to the spirit spouse. We shall specifically break covenants later.

• God hates spirit marriage and that was why He destroyed the earth in the time of Noah…

Gen.6:1-7 And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, 2 That the sons of God (fallen angels) saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 ¶ And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. 4 ¶ There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. 5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 ¶ And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 

• They come to defile the victim and drive a wedge between him/her and God…

1Cor.6:14-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Step 3

Confronting the spirit spouse is dangerous because it is a vicious serpent; therefore, the full armour of God is needed in the preparation for this battle…

Eph.6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Pray like this –

 My Father, Yahweh, The Man of War, I receive and put on Your full armour as I go into this battle so that the enemy will know that I belong to Your household as a bride of Christ, and to Your unconquerable army; and that I draw power from You only. I receive Your girdle of Truth, Your breastplate of righteousness, Your sandals of peace, Your shield of faith, Your helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your victorious Word with which I will pray all manner of prayers as led by the Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Step 4

Ask for a covering of the Blood of Jesus upon you and the environment where you are praying; and also, on all that concerns you – your family and loved ones – to protect you all just as the blood of the slain lamb protected the Israeli firstborns in the houses where they placed the blood on the door posts on Passover Night before the morning of their flight from Egypt. This will prevent the devil from attacking and distracting you during the prayers and from counter-attacking you and yours afterwards. These are dangerous strongmen and they are usually from the leviathan family as I mentioned earlier.

Ex.12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you (cover over you), and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

Pray like this –

Lord Jesus, You are my Passover Lamb. I ask that You mark the gates of my body and those of all my loved ones with Your Blood, to protect us in this war as You did on Passover Night. I ask that You mark the gates of this building and the whole environment to forbid any intrusion during this prayer session; and the gates of my home and workplace and my children’s schools, to prevent any revenge attack from the kingdom of darkness. Lord, let the Voice of Your Blood be released to tear off any veil over my face and any veil hiding the enemy’s stronghold, so that all the information I need will be revealed to me so that I shall war a good warfare and win this battle. Let nothing be able to hide the enemy stronghold from receiving my stones and arrows of prayers… I pray for the sake of Your Mighty Name, Jesus the Christ. Amen.

Step 5

Destroying altars of iniquity where the spirit spouse draws power from

An altar is a place of meeting between man and deity. It is a spiritual conduit which links man with the spirit entity which he wants to use for a deed, whether good or evil. An altar may be visible or invisible; like the invisible altar that is raised when we praise God and which ushers His divine Presence into our midst. Fetish priests copy this and raise physical altars to Satan and from there they do their enchantments. They place the blood of animals or human beings on the horns of the altars and fasten their incantations onto the blood, and the voice of the blood then carries the words of enchantments to locate their victims.

Therefore, spiritual warfare is always a battle of altars and a battle of the words fastened onto the horns of the altars. The power to do good or evil comes from either a good or evil altar because the altar is the link to the power of the deity in charge of the deed; it is therefore expedient to first target the power-base of the enemy, dismantle their altars and cut off the power of their deity. I daresay this is why Satan sends his emissaries to infiltrate Christian homes and Churches – to defile our altars of prayer and render us powerless.

How to destroy satanic altars 

11Cor.10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ

Jer.1:9,10a&b Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. 10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down…

We destroy altars by the specific Word/Rheama that God has given us for the specific battle we are engaged in and we activate the Word by quoting the passages aloud. The Word is like hammer, like fire, like stormy winds and any other weapon we need to pull down altars and the strongholds housing them. Note that a demonic altar can be built on land, in water-bodies, on mountains, on trees, in a grave or on heavenly bodies, especially the moon and the stars. The location of the altars depends on the religion of the fake priest in charge; and since altars can be raised with words and projected to take effect in long-distance places, it takes only the superior Word of God, spoken in faith and in the Name of Jesus, to locate them anywhere they are and dismantle and destroy them by the anointing of the Holy Spirit on us.

Pray like this –

In the mighty Name of Jesus and according to the Word of God to Jeremiah in the Book of Jeremiah chapter 1 verses 9 & 10, I stand on the Blood of Jesus the Christ, as a priest and a king made so by His sacrificial death on the Cross for me; and I root out, I pull down, I destroy and I throw down every satanic altar raised to bring this foul spirit husband/wife into my life, in the Name of Jesus

I dismantle those altars which brought me into the captivity of the spirit spouse, whether the altar was raised by me, my spouse (name), mother (name), father (name), my ancestors (use the list of ancestral names on your family tree to the third generation, great grandparents) or by anyone at all, or anywhere at all, at any time at all; whether knowingly or unknowingly, for any reason at all, in the mighty Name of my Lord Jesus the Christ. Let the horns of the altars be cut off and fall to the ground according to the Word of the Lord in Amos 3:14b …I will also visit the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground and I command the satanic voices from the horns of the altars to be silenced over my life, my marriage, and my generations, in Jesus Name. Amen. 

The Word of God says in Nahum 1:9 What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time. Therefore, I decree that these altars shall never be rebuilt by anyone forever, in Jesus Name. Amen. Thank You, Lord Jesus. 

Step 6

Dealing with personalities that minister at the altars of iniquity

Demonic altars are usually raised in covens, shrines, groves and other strongholds where satanic priests, demonic watchers or monitors, and evil gatekeepers are present to service the altars and keep them active.

Pray like this –

I take authority over you satanic priests of the broken down altars and I strip you of your priestly robes and armour and command them to catch fire and burn to ashes, in Jesus Name. I withdraw you from that demonic assignment and declare that no other will ever take your place in my life and in my generations, in Jesus Name. Amen. 

I take authority over you satanic watchers and declare you blinded to the progress of my life and destiny, in Jesus Name. I declare your crystal balls, pots of water, mirrors and any other monitoring devices, frustrated and shattered permanently, in Jesus Name. I declare your demonic assignment terminated, never to rise up again, in Jesus Name. 

I take authority over you satanic gatekeepers, in the Name of Jesus Christ. I take the keys of my life, my marriage and my home from you and give them to Jesus my Lord Who has the Key of David and opens and no one can shut, and when He shuts no one can open. I declare your satanic assignment terminated, never to rise up again in my life and generations, in Jesus Name. By the power of the Holy Spirit, I shut all the demonic doors which gave access to the kingdom of darkness for the spirit spouse to come in and wreak havoc in my life, especially my marital-life; and I declare that any bridge or ladder which gives it access is set ablaze and destroyed by the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus Name. 

I declare today that my name and those of my loved ones and generations are blotted out from your demonic records forever by the Blood of Jesus and your records set ablaze, in Jesus Name, Amen,

Step 7

Dealing with demonic covenants (both ancestral and personal), covenant demonic meals, evil trees representing us anywhere, all dedication to idols, demonic incisions….

Pray like this –

  In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, I stand on the Blood of the Covenant of Life that I now have with The Prince of Peace, and I break every satanic covenant made on my behalf by my parents or any ancestor at all before I was conceived; or when I was yet in my mother’s womb; and covenants made for me at my naming ceremony, in the Name of Jesus. And by the Blood of Jesus, I break every covenant made for me by my parents or anyone at all when I was growing up. (If you ever lived with a relative or anyone apart from your parents, mention the names here)

 I break every covenant made by me with (name of persons or cult) at (place) on (date – this does not have to be precise, even the year alone will do) for the reason of (for instance, when I was looking for the fruit of the womb or a job or a husband), in the Name of my Lord Jesus the Christ.

 I break every demonic covenant made by my husband/wife on my behalf and on the behalf of our family, in the Name of Jesus. I break all demonic covenants made on my behalf by anyone at all, for any reason at all, at any time at all; whether knowingly or unknowingly, in the Name of Jesus. (If you have ancestors who have served other gods, or been involved in a false religion, deal with that here, breaking covenants with the idols using their names.)

 I gather all these demonic covenants together and declare them null and void today and forever by the speakings of the Blood of the new covenant that I now have with The Prince of Life, and I renounce all the terms of the covenants and blot them away with the shed Blood of my Saviour, in Jesus Name. I declare that they are no longer binding on me and my generations, in Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

 I have chosen which God I will serve. His Name is Jehovah, the God and Father of my Lord Jesus Christ, and I have become His Temple. Therefore, in the Name of my Lord Jesus, I renounce every dedication to ancestral idols made at any time at all, whether before I was born or at my naming ceremony or at my traditional wedding ceremony. I break every demonic hold over my life, my destiny, my marriage, my generations and I silence their demonic voices speaking over any area of our lives, in Jesus Name. Amen.

As you pray the next section, rub anointing oil into any area of your body where incisions or tattoos were made –

I command all incisions and tattoos in my body to open your mouth and vomit the demonic materials rubbed into my body through them, in the mighty Name of Jesus. I break the blood covenant made by the contact with my blood through the incisions by the Blood of The Passover Lamb of God, the Lord Jesus and I neutralize whatever demonic effect they have on my blood, my blood-line, my body and any area my life and family, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Every demonic tree planted on my behalf, be uprooted, catch fire and burn to ashes now, wherever you are! In Jesus Name. Every evil seed you have seeded into my life and family, receive fire and burn to ashes, in Jesus Name.

 I drink the Blood of Jesus and nullify any demonic meal I ever took whether in real life or in the dream, in Jesus Name. I neutralize any evil food that opened the door to the spirit spouse and nullify its effects now by the Blood of Jesus. I vomit the demonic food by fire, in Jesus Name. At this point, retch and try to vomit. Bring up whatever comes up, spit it out and flush it down the toilet. Do not swallow it!

Step 8

1. Command the spirit spouse and his spirit children to perish. Mention the name of the spirit spouse if you know it

Jer.10:11 Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens….

Jer.10:17,18 Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress. 18 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.

Matt.16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Mk.16:17a And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…

2. Command fire on the tokens of the marriage – the spirit matrimonial home, wedding garments, wedding rings and other tokens, the marriage certificate, spirit children and all that represent the marriage, in Jesus Name 

3. Command the deposits of the spirit spouse in your body to be flushed out by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus Name 

4. Shut the door of your earthly natural home behind the intruder with the key of David that shuts and no one can open. Break the ladders and bridges that give the spirit spouse access to you and set them ablaze

Rev.3:7b …. These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

Pray it all together thus, violently and vehemently –

 In the mighty Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, you spirit husband/wife! (use the name if you know it), hear the Word of the Lord in Jer.10:11, since you have not made the heavens and the earth, I command you and your spirit children to perish now with your spirit children and house and marriage tokens from the earth and from under the heavens, in Jesus Name! Perish from my life and from my family and my generations with all your works, in Jesus Name!

 I command all the demons assisting you strongman to be bound and cast into the abyss now, never to come back, in Jesus Name! (Here, take time to address the demons by the works that they do in your life and family – lateness of marriage, broken engagements, troubled marriage, barrenness, poverty,  rebellion in children, infirmity and so on.)

 I shut all the demonic doorways that brought you into my life and family, with the Key of David that shuts and no man or devil can open, in the Mighty Name of Jesus. I decree that those doors are sealed shut with the Blood of my Passover Lamb, my Lord Jesus, in Jesus Name. Every ladder and bridge which give you access to my life, break now! In Jesus Name. Burn to ashes, never to be rebuilt, in Jesus Name! Amen.

Lord Holy Spirit, overshadow our household and surround us with Your Pillar of Fire and Cloud, to be light to us and darkness to the enemy as You did at the Red Sea, so that no intruder will ever come into our lives again, in Jesus Name. My Lord, my divine Bridegroom, mark our household with Your Blood as You did on Passover Night so that the Voice of Your Blood will rebuke the enemy in our gates, in Jesus Name. Father God, we ask for Angelic cover to keep us safe in all our ways, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Step 9

Demand the restoration of all that was lost due to the unholy marriage, even your wasted years, using these Scriptures…

Prov.6:31 …when he (a thief) is found, he must restore sevenfold; He may have to give up all the substance of his house. 

1Sam.30:8 And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all….18 And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives. 19 And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.

Joel2:25-27 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. 26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. 27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Pray like this –

            Thank You Holy Spirit for causing me to pursue, overtake and defeat this foul strongman that have stolen so much from me. Now I present the Blood of Jesus, the Blood of redemption, and I break into your stronghold and demand back all you have stolen from me by your vile activities in my life, in the Name of Jesus. I take back my virtues, my glory, my ability to marry, to maintain a peaceful, Godly home and have children…I take back broken Godly relationships, my finances and my ability to make wealth; my health….(mention all the spirit spouse had denied you of)…I retrieve them all from you by the fire of the Holy Ghost and the power in the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Step 10

Take Holy Communion to activate your covenant with the Lord and also to prevent counter-attacks of the enemy.
