THE CHARGE OF THE SPIRITUAL WARRIOR
A lot of spiritual and physical energy is dissipated during spritual warfare and you need to constantly charge yourself with the Word of God and periods of praying in tongues (Jude:20) to become strong in the Lord constantly; just as you need to re-charge your phone battery when it runs down. Satan tries to make life into a war-front (Job14:1) which is made up of many battles and you must strive to win each one of them to move forward in life; the following declarations are based on two Scriptures and they are formulated to charge you up as you pray them daily –
Eph.6:10-13
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Isa.11:1-9
There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord . His delight is in the fear of the Lord , And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, Nor decide by the hearing of His ears; But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, And decide with equity for the meek of the earth; He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked. Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins, And faithfulness the belt of His waist. “The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them…They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord As the waters cover the sea.
These two Scriptures describe what made the Lord Jesus to freely go about doing good and winning every battle and was able to fulfil His destiny successfully. They have been turned it into prayer declarations…
THE SPIRITUAL WARRIOR’S DAILY PRAYER DECLARATIONS
Eternal Father, YAHWEH The Man of War, I ask for Your full armour today so that I shall be able to fight the battles of life under Your banner as Jehovah Nissi and go conquering and to conquer; following in the footsteps of the Lord Jesus, the Captain of my salvation and marked by His Blood that cries “Touch not!”, in Jesus Name.
Let the Holy Spirit empower me with the weapons of war in the Word and the strategies of war; let Him surround me with Angels of war to fight along with me and protect me; let the Pillar of Fire and Cloud surround me and all mine to hide us from the enemy but expose them clearly to me so they will have nowhere to hide from me and my weapons of war; so that having done all, at the end of each battle, I shall be standing with my foot on the necks of the enemy; so that I shall not die with the enemy like Samson, I shall not die at the hand of the enemy like Jonathan, I shall not die the death of the enemy like Josiah, in Jesus Name Amen.
Lord Holy Spirit, I ask for Your anointing to rest upon me to face the issues and battles of today under Your direction like the Lord Jesus did as a Man on earth.
I ask for…
- The Spirit of Jehovah, the Man of War
- The Spirit of knowledge so that I shall not be ignorant of the devices of the enemy
- The Spirit of understanding
- The Spirit of wisdom, so that I will do things the way The Lord would do
- The Spirit of counsel to give and receive only godly counsel
- The Spirit of might, to demonstrate the power of my God in the battles of life with signs following as the Lord Jesus promised
- The Spirit of the fear of the Lord so I will submit myself at all times to the leadership and guidance of God my Father to the glory of His great Name
So that I will not judge after the hearing of my ears nor the seeing of my eyes, but will have divine insight into every issue I face in life; so that I shall be wiser than the enemy and my peers and will possess a mouth and wisdom that nobody can match or gainsay…
So that with righteousness and equity I will deal with the poor and the meek of the earth, and with the rod of the Word in my mouth, I shall smite the earth and with my breath I shall slay the wicked as I pray in the power of the Holy Spirit…
So that righteousness and faithfulness shall be the girdle of my loins so that Your peace will be enforced all around me and my family and in any nation I live, till the whole earth is full of Your Knowledge and Glory as the waters cover the sea…
