DELIVERANCE PROGRAM FOR THE OIL AND GAS SECTOR OF NIGERIA
Introduction
Global Intercession For The Nations, Germany was led to call a Zoom prayer meeting recently because God graciously opened the scroll and revealed a secret to the Prophet in the House, Rev. Yinka Oloyede, all the way in her Germany base. She had a dream where she was taken through a long tunnel under the waters to a massive warehouse filled with thousands of kegs of our crude oil and they were being guarded by numerous huge strongmen. She was led to call me for a discussion and we concluded that since God reveals to redeem, we can be sure that God has simply revealed to her that He is about to move against the perennial rot and theft in the petroleum sector of Nigeria. The Bible says in Amos3:7, Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. And when God reveals a secret He wants to work on, He still expects us to pray and partner with Him in its implementation. Hear what God says in Eze.36:36b,37 “…I, the LORD, have spoken it, and will do it,’’ 37 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “I will also let the house of Israel inquire of Me to do this for them
So, we decided to call a Zoom prayer meeting with a few Pastors and ask God for deliverance for the Nigerian oil and gas sector from the hands of the strongmen He revealed in the dream.
Brief historical background of the Nigerian oil and gas sector –
The production of crude oil began in Bayelsa state in the Niger Delta area of Nigeria, in 1956 although exploration had started in Nigeria as far back as 1903, but global events like the World Wars hindered it. Today, according to OPEC, Nigeria has the 10th largest crude oil reserves in the world and is the 13th largest producer of crude oil. We also have the 9th largest gas reserves in the world and we also have bitumen in the south west which is virtually untapped. Despite these figures, Nigeria still imports oil and gas simply because the petroleum sector has always been the most corrupt sector in Nigeria. Most of our crude oil is stolen daily and our gas is flared, burnt off daily at the oil-fields and this has been going on for over five decades despite efforts made and vast resources committed to harnessing the gas for local use and export. The Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas Company, a whole village with all the necessary infrastructure elaborately built in the late 80s, just never fulfilled its function. Our government refineries have not worked for over a decade and all attempts by private entities to set up refineries have failed till Dangote refinery came on board recently. Are you surprised that it took someone from the north, over a thousand miles from the oil-fields, to achieve this feat? I’ll show you why in a minute…
In January 1966, the military took over the government and held on to it for some 23 years during which the baton was passed mostly from one northern Muslim to another and during that dark period of our history the oil sector was shared among northern Muslims and they came to own over 90% of the oil blocks even though they live thousands of miles away from the oil-producing states in the southern coastal part of the nation. This foundational illegality is one of the reasons the Niger Delta has been in turmoil for decades, with the formation of various deadly militant groups disrupting oil production, killing and kidnapping oil workers until ex-President YarAdua came and doused the tension in 2009 by giving amnesty to the militants if they would lay down their arms.
One secret about oil exploration which we gleaned of at some of our prayer meetings for the nation was how the locals would persuade the oil explorers to allow their fetish priests to do satanic rituals to help them locate the oil. We heard that these rituals included human blood sacrifices; with human blood being poured into the oil-wells. So, the oil and gas sector was already cursed from inception, and this is a major reason why it has not been the real blessing it should be to the nation at large. Innocent blood is crying against the sector!
So, the oil and gas sector is labouring under many curses –
- from God because the explorers shunned Him but relied on witchcraft and idolatry
- the curse of the crying blood of the innocent, like the blood of Abel crying for vengeance
- age-long and continuing curses from the owners of the land in the Niger Delta where oil is explored; because the local population is totally bypassed when it comes to the benefits, resulting in them living in abject poverty.
So, our intercessory assignment here involves –
- Standing in the gap before God to repent for our national idolatry using Da.9
- Breaking of the covenants and curses over the oil and gas sector
- And binding the strongmen in charge of enforcing the curse which God had revealed to Rev Yinka in that dream. They belong to the Marine witchcraft kingdom and Baal the antichrist kingdom. So, we are basically dealing with the dragon, the destroyer, the devourer which is a combination of the serpent and Baal; and as well, the spirit of witchcraft which was used to initiate our oil wells. Dealing with these three strongmen will effectively break the strangle-hold of Muslims over the oil and gas sector because their god is Jezebel/witchcraft spirit which is the moon and Baal the star. Blessedly oil has been found in the northern parts of Nigeria in recent times.
PRAYER SECTION
Preparation
i. Let’s ask for the full armour of God using Eph 6:10-18
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints
ii. Let’s ask for the 7-fold fullness of the Holy Spirit power placed on the Lord Jesus according to Isa11:1,2
There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse, And a Branch shall grow out of his roots. 2The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him, The Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

- Repentance for the sins of the land, known and unknown, past and present – using Da. 9:4-19.
Daniel 9:4-19 NKJV
…“O Lord, great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him, and with those who keep His commandments, [5] we (Nigerians) have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments. [6] Neither have we heeded Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name to our (leaders), to our fathers and all the people of the land. [7] O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us shame of face, as it is this day—to the men of (Nigeria), to the inhabitants of (Nigeria) and all (Nigeria), those near and those far off in all the countries to which You have driven them, because of the unfaithfulness which they have committed against You. [8] “O Lord, to us belongs shame of face, to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, because we have sinned against You. [9] To the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him. [10] We have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God, to walk in His laws, which He set before us by His servants the prophets. [11] Yes, all (Nigeria) has transgressed Your law, and has departed so as not to obey Your voice; therefore the curse and the oath written in the Law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out on us, because we have sinned against Him. [12] And He has confirmed His words, which He spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, by bringing upon us a great disaster (especially that which has befallen our oil and gas sector such that we are not able to make expected profit as an oil-producing nation); for under the whole heaven such has never been done as what has been done to (Nigeria). [13] “As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come upon us; yet we have not made our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth. [14] Therefore the Lord has kept the disaster in mind, and brought it upon us; for the Lord our God is righteous in all the works which He does, though we have not obeyed His voice. [15] And now, O Lord our God, who brought Your people out of the (bondage of colonial rule) with a mighty hand, and made Yourself a name, as it is this day—we have sinned, we have done wickedly! [16] “O Lord, according to all Your righteousness, I pray, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your (beloved nation Nigeria), Your holy mountain; because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our (leaders), (Nigeria) and Your people are a reproach to all those around us. [17] Now therefore, our God, hear the prayer of (we) Your servant(s), and (our) supplications, and for the Lord’s sake cause Your face to shine on (the oil and gas sector which You gave us), which is desolate. [18] O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the (distress of we Believers in Nigeria who are) called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies. [19] O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your (beloved nation Nigeria) and (we) Your people (who) are called by Your name.”

2. BREAKING OF DEMONIC COVENANTS MADE WITH ANY OTHER NATION AND PRINCIPALITIES
Col.2:13-15
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
Prayers…
We come as the representatives of Christ in Nigeria, and we stand on the atonement work of the Lord Jesus and on the covenant of life that the Body of Christ in Nigeria has with her Lord, and we break and nullify all satanic covenants made over the oil and gas sector of Nigeria on behalf of the nation, at any time at all, by anyone at all, knowingly or unknowingly, in the great Name of Jesus Christ. With the Blood of Jesus, we blot out the terms of the covenants today because they are handwriting of ordinances contrary to the welfare of our nation; we take them out of the way and nail them to the Cross of atonement, in Jesus Name
3. BREAKING CURSES
Next, we are going to enforce the atonement work of the Lord on the cross upon the curses, using the following Scriptures –
Gal.3:13,14
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Col.2:13-15

Pray like this –
Lord, we stand in the gap for our nation Nigeria and we ask You to break the curse over our oil and gas sector in the Name of Jesus. As it is written in Your Word that Jesus Christ hung on the cruel cross and became a curse in our place. Thank You, Jesus! Therefore, we stand upon that atonement work of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, and we nullify all curses operating over the Nigerian petroleum sector, on our oil-fields, our refineries and all that concerns the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, in Jesus Name. in the great Name of Jesus and by the power released by His atonement on the Cross, we break every curse placed on the oil sector by the crying blood of those sacrificed into the oil-wells, the curses of those whose lands were snatched for oil exploration, the curses of those who lost their livelihoods because of oil-spills, the curses of those who lost sons and daughters in the unrest because of militancy…and all curses issued on Nigeria by anyone at all, for any reason at all, at any time at all, knowingly or unknowingly, in any location in the four corners of the earth or underneath the earth and in the waters. We ask that the Blood of Jesus will now blot out the words of the curses and every handwriting of ordinance working against our nation through the curses; as well as incantations or wicked pronouncements issued by anyone at all, at any time at all, for any reason at all, in the Name of Jesus.
4. SILENCE THE WORDS OF THE CURSE
Ask God to silence the words of the curse, usually made by wicked pronouncements and incantations, by the speakings of the Blood of Jesus.
Pray like this –
Father, thank You for Your thoughts and plans for Nigeria which are of good and not of evil, to bring us to that glorious expected end into our nation’s destiny in Your global agenda for the end-times. Blessed be Your Holy Name. We ask now that the Blood of Jesus will begin to declare Your perfect will, purpose and counsel for blessing Nigeria with such huge reserves of oil and gas and bitumen, in the Name of Jesus; and let the Voice of the Blood of Jesus silence all the demonic voices of every curse operating over our oil and gas sector, in Jesus Name.
5. DESTROYING SATANIC ALTARS IN OUR OIL AND GAS SECTOR Nu.33:50-55; Deut.7:1-6; Jer.1:9,10a&b.

52 Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places: 53 And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
Deut.7:5
5 But thus shall ye deal with them; ye shall destroy their altars, and break down their images, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven images with fire.
Jer.1:9,10a&b
Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth. 10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down….
Since altars are raised with incantations which are just words from the mouths of demonic men and women, it takes only the superior Word of God, spoken in faith and in the Name of Jesus, to dismantle and destroy their demonic words and intent.
Pray like this –
In the mighty Name of Jesus and according to the Word of God to Jeremiah in the Book of Jeremiah chapter 1 verses 9 & 10, we ask You Father God to touch our mouths with Your fire and power, in Jesus Name. We stand on the Blood of Jesus the Christ, as priests and kings made so by His sacrificial death on the Cross for us; and we root out, pull down, destroy and throw down every satanic altar, every witchcraft altar, every coven, every demonic shrine, every groove raised against the oil and gas sector of Nigeria by anyone at all, at any time at all, knowingly or unknowingly, in Jesus Name.
Let the horns of the altars be cut off and fall to the ground according to the Word of the Lord in Amos 3:14b …I will also visit the altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground. We command the satanic voices from the horns of the altars to be silenced over the workings of the oil and gas sector of Nigeria, in Jesus Name. Amen.
The Word of God says in Nahum 1:9 What do ye imagine against the LORD? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time. Therefore, we decree and declare that these altars shall never be rebuilt, in Jesus Name. Amen. Thank You, Lord Jesus.
6. DEALING WITH PERSONALITIES THAT MINISTER AT THE ALTARS. These are the satanic priests, demonic watchers with monitoring gadgets, and evil gatekeepers with keys –
We take authority over you satanic priests of the broken-down altars and we strip you of your priestly robes and command them to catch fire and burn to ashes, in Jesus Name. We withdraw you from that demonic assignment over our oil and gas sector and declare that no other will ever take your place there, in Jesus Name. Amen.
We take authority over you satanic watchers and declare you blinded to the progress and destiny of Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, in Jesus Name. We declare your monitoring devices frustrated and shattered permanently, in Jesus Name. We declare your demonic assignment terminated, never to rise up again, in Jesus Name.
We take authority over you satanic gatekeepers, in the Name of Jesus Christ. We take the keys of Nigeria’s oil and gas sector from you and give them to Jesus Who has the key of David and opens and no one can shut, and when He shuts no one can open. We declare your satanic assignment terminated, never to rise up again in this nation, in Jesus Name. In the Name of Jesus, we shut all the demonic doors in Nigeria which you have opened to give access to the kingdom of darkness from inside and outside Nigeria to come in and wreak havoc in our oil and gas sector. Any bridge or ladder which gives them access is broken to pieces and destroyed by the power in the Blood of Jesus, in Jesus Name.
7. DEALING WITH SATANIC STRONGMEN CONTROLING THE OIL AND GAS SECTOR OF NIGERIA
We have identified the strongmen involved – Baal, Leviathan and Jezebel witchcraft spirits; and we shall deal with them collectively…

Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, even they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens…
Jer.10:17,18
Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress. 18 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find it so.
Matt.16:19
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils…
Pray thus, violently and vehemently –
In the mighty Name of my Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, all you foul strongmen; Baal, Jezebel and leviathan, you destroying dragons troubling the petroleum sector of Nigeria, hear the Word of the Lord in Jer.10:11, since you have not made the heavens and the earth, we command you all to perish now from the earth and from under the heavens, in Jesus Name! Perish with all your works from our nation Nigeria, especially from our oil and gas sector, both up-stream and down-stream sectors, in Jesus Name!
We command all you strongmen and all the demons assisting you strongmen to be bound and cast into the abyss now, never to come back, in Jesus Name! Gather up your wares out of the land of Nigeria now and go into the abyss, in Jesus Name. The Lord rebuke you all! Amen
8. BIND THE DEMONS IN CHARGE, using the work they do. Let’s pray like this…
‘‘In the Name of Jesus our Lord, we take authority over you spirit of witchcraft, spirit behind all forms of corruption, spirit of greed, spirit of error in our leadership and that continuous spirit of barrenness and failure that have made the oil and gas unprofitable for Nigeria…. we gather you all and bind you with chains and fetters of iron that cannot be broken and we cast you out of the oil and gas sector of our nation Nigeria…, into the abyss with all your works, in the Name of Jesus.’’
9. Shut the doorways or whatever gave access to the demons in charge of the curses to come in freely to wreck damage in the oil and gas sector of Nigeria, both from inside and outside the nation. Pray like this –
All demonic doorways and gates, all ladders of darkness, all satanic bridges that gave the words of the curses and the strongmen with their demons and agents, access into Nigeria’s oil and gas sector…. we shut you all down now with the key of David that shuts and no one can open, in Jesus Name. We command the ladders of darkness to catch fire and burn to ashes, and the bridges to shatter and scatter, in Jesus Name. We barricade and seal off the oil and gas sector of Nigeria from the kingdom of darkness with the Blood of Jesus and the Fire of the Holy Ghost, in Jesus Name.
9. WE MUST NOW DEMAND FOR RESTITUTION by presenting the Blood of Jesus and redeeming back all the structures and riches that have gone into the wrong hands in the oil and gas sector, in the Name of Jesus
Job20:15
He hath swallowed down riches, and he shall vomit them up again: God shall cast them out of his belly.
Prov.6:30,31
People do not despise a thief If he steals to satisfy himself when he is starving. Yet when he is found, he must restore sevenfold; He may have to give up all the substance of his house
Let’s pray –
Father God, Judge of the Universe, we come to Your Throne of judgment seeking for justice for Nigerians for the continuous chronic theft of our oil and the wastage of our natural gas by flaring. We come under the cover of the Blood of Jesus our heavenly Advocate and we want to remind You, Father, that it is Your righteousness that when a thief is caught, he must restitute and return all he stole. Therefore, we present the Blood of Jesus and redeem back all that has been stolen from Nigeria’s oil and gas sector especially by strangers that come from other parts of Nigeria and other nations, in Jesus Name. We ask You Father, that You would cast it all out of their bellies into the treasury of Nigeria to be used for the greater good of Nigerians, in Jesus Name.
10. RAISE ALTARS TO THE MOST HIGH GOD ON THE OIL AND GAS SECTOR
Now that those curses and covenants and altars have been broken, we must not leave a vacuum but must now raise altars to the Most High God over the oil and gas sector of Nigeria and fasten blessings on the horns of the altars for Nigeria from the Word of God to proclaim over our nation. The chapter of the blessings that Moses pronounced upon the Tribes of Israel is a good place to use. See Deut.33:1-29. We shall use the blessings of Jeshurun in verses 26-29 –
Father, we stand as Christ’s Priests and Kings before You today and we dedicate the oil and gas sector to You, Jehovah El Elyon, The Most High God, The Creator and Possessor of Nigeria, in the Name of Jesus. We raise Altars of righteousness and justice and judgment upon our oil and gas sector, to enforce Your righteousness there and Your justice and judgement upon any activities contrary to that, in the Name of Jesus. Let the horns of the Altars be linked with the horns of the Golden Altar before Your Throne to draw down the power and wisdom needed from heaven to run the oil and gas sector of Nigeria, in Jesus Name. Let the horns of the Altars be anointed with the Blood of Jesus to declare every second, the perfect will and counsel of God for the sector…let the oils from the Two Olive Trees in heaven anoint the horns of the Altars and bring down the mountain moving power of the Holy Ghost to level every mountain that blocks all Nigerians from being blessed by this God-given natural resource…let every blood crying for vengeance over the sector be silenced by the Voice of the Blood of Jesus and let every dedication to other gods be revoked now, in the Name of the Eternal Father, the Blessed Son and the Sweet Holy Spirit. Amen.
We fasten the blessings of Jeshurun on the horns of the Altars to proclaim over Nigeria till Christ comes, in Jesus Name…
There is no one like our God, the God of Jeshurun, the Mighty God of Nigeria, Who rides the heavens to help us, And in His excellency on the clouds. The eternal God is our refuge, And underneath us are His everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before Nigeria, And will say, ‘Destroy!’ Then we and our oil and gas sector shall dwell in safety alone, As the fountain of Jacob, In a land of grain and new wine; Our heavens shall also drop dew. Happy are we, O Nigerians! Who is like us, a people saved by the LORD, The shield of our help And the sword of our majesty! Our enemies shall submit to us, And we shall tread down their high places, in Jesus Name. Amen and Amen!
